A Board Level Executive with extensive knowledge in both corporate and small to medium businesses, working within the Defence, Security sectors. Acknowledged as a natural leader with excellent communication skills who can manage change effectively, both in growing and flexing businesses when required. Ability to engage and create strong lasting client relationships whilst maintaining a first-class operational capability. A proven track record of on time delivery backed with 28 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Commercial, Operations and Programme Management. Previous client facing and contract management experience includes roles at BAE Systems and Thales, amongst other blue chip defence and security businesses.

A professional, highly skilled and commercially astute Engineer and leader, with a proven track record of high profile management and engineering roles, including Governance, Product Design, Research and Development and Test and Evaluation. A proven track record of delivering elegant solutions with a strong technical and customer focus in Defence, Automotive, Aerospace and Maritime sectors. Managing governance and driving progressive change in processes, practices and behaviour.

Neil joined Force Development Services in 2016 with a focus on generating new business with Police and Law Enforcements clients. He brings 30 years of front-line experience served with the Metropolitan Police Service during which 18 years were spent with SCO19’s Specialist Firearms Command. Having held a variety of operational and firearms instructor roles, he is able to bring significant value to our clients through his deep understanding of their mission objectives. Neil has a passion for ensuring those who put themselves in harm’s way to protect us are equipped with the best possible capabilities.
