Law enforcement agencies including police, customs, narcotics, and other authorised Government agencies face increasingly sophisticated threats as they undertake their duties. From access entry across a range of domains, buildings, maritime vessels or aircraft, robust equipment and solutions are needed to deliver missions success and protect personnel from harm’s way.
We have worked closely with Law Enforcement Officers to design and manufacture solutions for Tactical Intervention, enabling Officers to carry out missions whilst being able to deal directly and swiftly with armed criminals. We provide:
- Equipment for spontaneous and pre-planned firearms operations, such as controlled entry into buildings, aircraft and transport, protection, and escort duties.
- Physical protection of tactical firearms teams and armed response teams when conducting confined area searches or dynamic entry drills into potential hostile environments, such as building sieges, hostage rescue or close protection of VIP’s.
- Rapid access for surveillance, direct intervention and covert operations using specialist laddering systems for use on land or watercraft.
Protection:
We have a wide range of ballistic protection solutions, known as Modular Armour Shield System (MASS) and Modular Armour Protection System (MAPS). We also have an established track record in collaborating closely with customers to design and manufacture bespoke protection solutions specifically to counter threat and align with the customer's method of operation. We give ourselves the edge by remaining agnostic to the raw armour material itself and apply innovation to produce an optimised protection solution.
Modular Armoured Shield System (MASS):
This family of personal shields have been designed specifically to protect Firearms Officers who need to tactically advance into a major incident where they could be dealing with a high-risk hostile situation where firearms could be involved. MASS allows for the officer to advance efficiently and safety with appropriate protection. Our shields are lightweight, ergonomic and have been designed to be operated in confined spaces within buildings, ships, tunnels, aircraft and underwater diving. Our shields are buoyancy neutral for maritime operations and approaching targets from under water or carried on the officers back whilst climbing up or descending from a rope or ladder. They are easily stowed in vehicles and watercraft for rapid deployment. Various levels of ballistic protection are available for these shields.
AJAX:
Easily transportable, assembled by two personnel in less than sixty seconds to provide multi-shot ballistic protection with high levels of mobility and optimised for urban operations and siege situations. Typically for deployment on pre-planned operations to provide protection to firearms personnel, negotiators and evacuation of casualties. Rising front wheels enable the system to negotiate roadside curbs and doorway thresholds with ease. The main components are modular and interchangeable by design making the system reconfigurable to suit each mission.
VIXEN:
A modular ballistic shield system for spontaneous operations providing armed first responders with maximum team protection and high levels of mobility. Specifically designed for ease of transportation and rapid deployment and with an integral facility to carry essential mission critical equipment which reduces the burden on the operators. The system can negotiate stairs, elevators and doorway thresholds.
Viewpoint:
Viewpoint provides CT teams with a larger support shield that provides tactical teams with a ballistic protection capability that enables them to dominate and control a particular hostile area, corridor or room entry point whilst keeping direct ‘eyes-on’. The Viewpoint shield is easily transported in a SUV or similar vehicle for rapid deployment.
Modular Armoured Protection System (MAPS):
Is a unique rapidly deployable armour emplacement solution which is operated by Law Enforcement groups providing them with a protected position. MAPS is lightweight, adaptable, ergonomic to handle and easily re-deployable. These systems are primarily used in High-Risk areas to provide a check point/ entry point location such as, embassies, government buildings, royal residences, airport security and dockside/ ports. These systems are especially effective when deployed for short term events that require a rapid protection capability at high profile summits or and conferences.
Covert mobile defensive position – protection hidden in plain sight:
Sadly, we live in an era where the threat of marauding firearms attack has been far too frequent which is where our covert ballistic protection comes in to play. It is a non-obtrusive mobile ballistic shield specifically designed to blend in with its local surroundings. Our system is ideal for busy mass-transit hubs such as airport terminals, train and bus stations. The system can be deployed in a matter of a few seconds and provides full protection for two firearms officers allowing them to quickly close-down a hostile threat.
Rapid Access:
Our Vehicle Borne Intervention Systems (VBIS) are designed to enable military and law enforcement tactical intervention teams' rapid access onto high rise targets such as buildings and aircraft. Straightforward integration with multiple vehicle platform types, our systems enable a safe rapid approach and assault of the target. Equipped with numerous access platforms, examples being the Forward Assault Ramp and the Tactical Assault Ladder the teams can access 3rd and 4th story structures in urban environments and large aircraft such as Boeing 747-400 and the Airbus A380. Equipped with the Fast Rope System, the VBIS enables operatives to rapidly overcome vertical defensive obstacles such as high-rise walls and fences.
Our vast range of Tactical Ladders are designed specifically for the harsh conditions likely to be encountered for police and military use. With over 30 types of specialist ladder configurations, our tactical ladders have been designed to support multiple access platforms including boarding vessels during deep sea operation or takeover and entry of structures. We can design and manufacture a bespoke tactical ladder specifically matched to the customers operational requirement.
Gun Safes:
We design and manufacture bespoke vehicle weapon safes for the secure stowage of weaponry, ammunition and pyrotechnics, accessible from within the vehicle. We work in close collaboration with specialist police firearms officers throughout all stages of each project to ensure the design satisfies their operational needs and ensures the safety of the host vehicle and its occupants.
Weapon discharge cubes and bags – ‘making weapons safe’:
We design and manufacture weapon discharge containers that enable specialist police officers to safely check weapons that come into their possession and to conduct load/un-load and make ready drills with their own weapons.
Custom Designed Armouries:
Across the police, military and security sectors, armouries provide a safe location for the storage and management of firearms, ammunition and other tactical equipment. Whether required for a temporary operation or a permanent installation, we design, manufacture and install bespoke solutions that provide protection against ballistic, blast and forced entry. Housed within standard ISO containers, our armouries are easily transported and can be rapidly commissioned for operation. We access the RSES credentials of our sister company, and we adhere to the standards prescribed by CPNI and the UK Home Office firearms security handbook.

Our engineers have decades of experience designing, building and delivering bespoke special-to-role vehicle and trailer installations for police customers on an international scale. Whether it be for Command and Control; Surveillance; Communications, Counter-Drone or specialist forensics, we are platform agnostic and will work closely with the client throughout all phases to ensure a successful outcome.
